Fried Malai Chaap (Star recipe)

Ingredients:

  1. 500g soya chaap
  2. Fresh cream (Amul or any brand)
  3. Mayonnaise
  4. 2 tsp schezwan chutney / momos chutney
  5. Butter
  6. 1 tsp chaat masala powder
  7. Green cabbage
  8. Green capsicum (Shimla mirch)
  9. Soft corn
  10. Onion
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil for frying and cooking
  13. Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

1. Boil and Fry Soya Chaap:

- Boil raw soya chaap in water until it become soft . Drain and set aside.

- Heat oil in a deep-frying pan and fry the boiled soya chaap until golden brown. Set aside.

2. Make Malai Chaap Sauce:

- cut onion, cabbage and capsicum

- Add butter in pan and sauté onion, cabbage, capsicum, corn and fried chaap. After sauté put all in a bowl

- then add cream, mayonnaise, schezwan chutney / momos chutney according to your taste in that bowl and mix well

- then add chaat masala and salt according to your taste and mix well

Tip: for best flavour add little amount of butter in pan and sauté all mixture for half minute

You can skip capsicum and corn if you don’t like

Note : you can use any other chutney in ingredient to make according to you it will taste good

3. Serve:

- serve with different type of chutney like mint Dahi chutney, mango imli chutney and momos chutney
