
- Boil raw soya chaap in water until it become soft . Drain and set aside.
1. Chop soya chaap into small pieces.
2. In a bowl, mix gram flour, rice flour, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt.
1. Gradually add water to the flour mixture and mix well to form a thick batter.
2. Add baking soda (if using) and mix well.
3. Add chopped soya chaap pieces to the batter and mix well.
1. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
2. Drop spoonfuls of the chaap batter into the hot oil.
3. Fry until golden brown and crispy.
1. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
2. Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
